NSW & ACT State Podiatry Conference May 2018
Our Podiatrists attended the NSW & ACT Podiatry conference this month at Luna Park in Sydney to learn about all things feet! We were lucky enough to hear from some of the local expert academics in our profession as well as seeing some great international speakers discuss the intricacies of managing foot and lower leg pain. We were also able to take in the sites of our beautiful home city during the VIVID Sydney Festival. Some areas of interest for our Podiatrists were:
- Elite athletes and the lower limb
- New concepts in foot and ankle surgery
- Footwear design and its effect on lower limb biomechanics
- Paediatric musculoskeletal injuries
- Assessment of lower limb alignment in children
- The latest in assessment and management of diabetic wounds
